JetComp.exe Question

My question is regarding the steps for compacting a Dbase
using jetcomp.exe..

I understand that the corrupted dbase will be the one to
be compacted and is indentified as "dbase to compact from
(source)" box. However, the second part which is "dbase
to compact into (destination)" box is where my question
comes in.

I created a new blank(shell)dbase for my "into
(destination)" but recieving the following message "error
compacting database". I'm not sure what kind of path is
necessary. Please advise!
