Hello all,
I have a tricky problem (ppt2003).
I have a jigsaw puzzle.
In design mode, I want the puzzle to appear "complete".
In run mode, I want the puzzle to appear "randomly shuufled" then make
itself into back in to the "complete" picture ( on click or via time delays )
Here is what I did ( is there a better way?)
- btw slide background is white
A. Create "completed picture" for display in design mode.
1. Create white_rectangle_1
2. Assemble the "complete" jigsaw & group it with white_rectangle_1
3. Create a custom animation to "Fade with Previous Very Fast" as the first
slide action.
B. Create "exploded picture" for display in run mode
1. create a copy of the "complete" jigsaw, and ungroup
2. Drag each piece to the new random "start point"
3. Create a motion path for each piece to "Put the picture back together"
4. bring the group from "A" to front
Now this took a damn long time to build, because getting the motion paths
right to "rebuild" the "completed picture" from the "exploded picture" was
near impossible. Drove me nuts.
Q1: What is the faste way to dissapear an object/group before the initial
view of the slide? "Fade with Previous Very Fast" still takes a long time.
Q2: Is there any way that I could have shortcutted (?) this process i.e.
simply done "something" to the pieces of the "completed picture" before I
dragged them to their new starting positions that woudl have made sure that
they all ended up back the right place? Itried a lot of fiddling with motion
paths / reversing etc., but never made it.
Would appreciate your input.
