JIS Keyboard, Windows 98( Word 97)

I have "Japanese IME" downloaded on my computer(Windows 98 with standard
keyboard). I am able to select Japanese IME, on the toolbar, to send and
receive e-mails, but when using "Word" (Word 97) I am unable to select
Japanese IME (Japanese IME does not appear on the toolbar).
