joining 2 fields in a report

Can someone assist with the correct expression for
obtaining a grand total for the subtotal of two different
fields in a report. I can get the correct results for the
two subtotals but not the grandtotal. Some of the fields
will not have a value but that doesn't matter.
In other words, Field 1, Field 2 are numerial values.
Field 3 is the subtotal of field 1 and field 4 is the
subtotal of field 2. I need the grandtotal of both
fields. Thank you.

You could simply copy the formulas you sed to obtain the
subtotals and sum (+) them in the grand total.
