Journal entry spell check

Two questions

1st. When entering a journal entry and I make a spelling error why won't it
underline with the red Squiggly like in word?

2nd. when starting a new journal entry and I start to make notes in the
text window I would like it when my NOTE DATES stand out example different
color, bold, underline whatever is there a way that this can be done
Automatically
instead of having to go through format>font. Thanks

in what application are dealing with your journals. It doesn't sound as
if it were Word, so you might find better help in a forum/newsgroup
dealing with the product you're using.
