I am using Outlook 2003 on Windows XP.
When I SaveAndClose a journal entry, my past experience with Outlook
is that the timer halts. I'm currently finding that when I re-open
the journal entry, the timer is still running. The few times I
noticed this, I dismissed it as built-in Outlook functionality that
recognized the short time that the journal entry was closed for, and
kept the timer running. Not that I want that functionality, but it
seemed like a possibility.
I just re-opened a journal entry that was closed over an hour ago, and
the timer was still running. In other words, the timed duration no
longer has any correspondence with reality. I have to guess what the
actual duration was an manually punch it in. Let's just say I am
unhappy.
Has anyone else noticed this?
What are the circumstances that lead to this behaviour?
