Journal help needed!

I am running OL 2002, and I cannont for the life of me get the journal to
log/record all of my e-mails, word doc's, or excel sheets.

I have purchased MSRunning Outlook" and STILL it will not record anything.

What am I doing wrong? I've checked all of my contacts, and types of files,
changed "views" 1000 times and nothing.

Please tell me where I messed up in my configurations.

Oh, been to Slipstick.com too, and no answers there either.
