journal stopped recording entries

Hi - I'm using Outlook 2003 and as of April 26, my "journal" function
mysteriously stopped recording any of the Word or Excel documents I was
working on. I've double checked my "Journal" preferences in Outlook "Options"
- I have both "Word" and "Excel" files checked, but nothing has appeared
after 4/26. I found the journal option very useful and would love to somehow
turn it back on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
