Journalize the Issus and Risks

Hi All,
I want to incorporate existing and new Issue/risks by adding a milestone or
task to the project file and publish it onto project server. My premises is
that these are external events which will affect the schedule. I believe it
is simply a matter of querying the issue/risk for the item and adding it to
a project file. Does anyone know of any pitfalls or can offer have any
suggestions.
