Journals and dates

**{Steven}**

I just decided to use word for keeping a journal. What I want to know is if
there is a keyboard shortcut for entering the date? I am a bit lazy and
don't want to have to think of the date whenever I make an entry and having
to hit a couple keys would be nice.

Thanks In Advance

Alt+I, then T gets you the Insert Date & Time dialog. You can specify your
default format.

Steven,
If you mean a shortcut that inserts the date as text, I'm afraid there is no
such shortcut. If you want to insert the date as a field that will update
everytime you open the document then hit ALT+shift+D.
