JPEG files in emails

I am trying to send a JPEG image as an email attachment, using Outlook 2003.
The drop down insert menu does not give this as an option, hence the picutre
always appears in the text body. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to
send it as an attachment?

you should have Insert / File, or just click on the paper clip
