JPEG image file is not supported

I have been using JPEGs all alongon a web page that I am making with out
issue. Now I try to insert one and a prompt comes up and says
"This image file format is not supported"

I have no clue what has changed.
Does anyone have experiance with this type of problem?
Any Suggestions?

If it is an image you've edited in an editor, make sure you saved it in RGB format
and not CYMK ( print ) format.
