Jumping Task Bars in Summary Project

I have a summary project consisting of many inserted
projects, all using the same resource pool. I rearranged
many of the projects from within the summary project by
changing their caluculation method from the start date of
the project to the finish date.

I opened all of the projects and save all including the
resource pool. Now when I attempt to do just about
anything in the summary project, many (not all) of the
projects that I rearranged jump to some common finish
date. If I open the indidvidual project it corrects
itself. Any additional work within the summary project
will cause it to jump again.

Any ideas? This is driving me nuts!

In Tools, Options, Calculation, cross out
"Inserted projects are calculated like summary tasks"
