Jumping to end and beginning of document without Home or End keys

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

My Macbook Air has no Home or End keys. How do I jump to the beginning and end of my documents? I have tried a variety of things including mapping new keys but can't seem to get it to work. This seems like a little thing but it is mighty frustrating for me.

I don't have one to look at, but I believe it's the same as the MacBook
Pro... In the lower left corner there is key labeled fn - hold it while
keying Command+Right /Left Arrow for end/beginning of document respectively.

If Bob's suggestion doesn't work--you can go into Tools | Customize
Keyboard and assign your own. The commands you need are named:

EndOfDocument
StartOfDocument

Browse the alphabetical All Commands list.

Many thanks to you all. A little thing like this has made my life so much easier. I had tried to reassign the keys but was looking for a command called "GoToEndofDocument" or something like that.

since everyone is throwing in suggestions to do relatively the same thing.

If you have an extended keyboard, after clicking at start of document,
see what hitting *home* key and and *end* key does.

Or (although personally I'd follow Bob and Daiya's recommendations):

Command-a to select the entire document
Left-arrow to go to the beginning of the document, or right-arrow to the end
(which de-selects in the process).
