Jumps in subform?

In a subform I have a number of columns. Two of them, an item combo box and
a quantity field, are the only ones that the user can change. When he has
made his choices and hits enter after the last, the cursor jumps back to the
first one in the same record. It is needed two more enters to step forward
to a new record.

But if he puts the cursor in an already written field, or is writing a new
record, this annoying behavior always exists.
Any suggestions?

Sorry last sentence of my question should read:

behavior does not exist. Only by inserting new data.
