Junk E-mail folder disappeared - how do I get it back?

I had to run scanpst.exe to fix a problem with Outlook, which seemed to work
OK but now my the junk E-mail folder has disappeared and I don't know how to
restore it.

I have tried starting Outlook with the /resetfolders switch but it didn't
seem to have any effect.

The scanpst created a folder called Lost and Found, which had what looked
like the Junk E-mail folder in it, but when I copy this back to Personal
Folders it seems to change the status of it to a normal folder.

I am using Outlook 2007 on Vista. Any ideas how I can sort this out?

Forgot to mention I also have the Business Contact Manager installed and have
a lot of rules, email accounts, business contacts, business projects, tasks,
accounts etc. Will creating a new profile mean I vae to re-create all these
too?

Surely there must be an easier way :)

Thanks Nikki, but I have already tried this to no avail...

If I create a folder and call it Junk E-mail will this work do you think? Or
does it have to be a special kind of folder?

The scanpst program created a Lost & Found folder with a couple of
sub-folders within it, one of which looks like the Junk Email folder - I
tried copying this but it just changed it to a normal folder.

However, I have just noticed that junk mails are being put into this folder
- so it seems to be operating as a Junk E-mail folder - dare I rename it? Or
even more daring - move it?

Try the /resetfoldernames command switch. That's different from the
/resetfolders switch. It may be that you'll need to create a new PST.
Export your rules first, create the new PST, make it your delivery location,
move all the items from the old PST to the new, then import your rules, if
needed.

Thanks Brian, the folder in Lost and Found has now been renamed "Junk
E-mail". Since everything now appears to be working apart from the fact that
the Junk e-mail folder is in the wrong place -I think I'll just live with it,
rather than creating a new pst file and possibly creating even more problems
for myself!

Thanks to everyone for their help.

That's fine, if you want to leave it, but when done methodically, creating
and using a new PST is straight-forward and cannot create additional
problems.

Well, I might try it, but will it create problems with the Business Contact
Manager database. I have already had to do a repair on this......

That I don't know because, while I have an Office suite that includes BCM, I
didn't install it.
