junk e-mail list

I have an extensive junk e-mail list; how can I automatically delete these
e-mails as they keep coming.
all I have managed to do is change the color to red but cannot figure out
how to automatically delete these junk e-mails. Can somebody give me a step
by step way to do this. I use Outlook 2002.

Open Outlook and click-Tools-Options-On the preference tab look at the
button Junk E-Mail. The last option will send it to the delete folder and
then you can have the contents removed when you close Outlook..

Thanks for the tip, but under tools-options-preference tab, I do not have a
button for junk for junk e-mail folder??
