Hi,

Does the blocked senders list act on the 'from' , or the env sender that
appears in the header? for example, in the below header the email shows the
from as: (e-mail address removed), but the headers show
(e-mail address removed)

Why would any e-mail client rely on a non-standard X-header to determine
the return path to identify the sender? X-headers, since they are
non-standard headers, are only guaranteed to be defined by the mail
server that adds them. They're custom headers.

Once the X-headers are stripped out, along with the Received headers
(since e-mail clients don't try to trace through them to get at the
sender who may not be identified in them anyway), you're left with:

Delivered-To: (e-mail address removed)
MIME-Version: 1.0
From: {UTF8 string for username} <[email protected]>
To: (e-mail address removed)
Date: 20 Dec 2008 20:00:34 +0800
Subject: <{another UTF-8 encoded string}
{along with the blank delimiter line that you omitted}

So from those, which one do you think the e-mail client will inspect to
identify the sender?
