Junk Filter repeatedly marks domains as junk

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

I am running Entourage 2008 on a non-networked iMac and find that the Junk Filter continually moves mail from a particular domain into the Junk Folder. It is a contact form we use from a business website and I have answered to allow all e-mails from that domain each time. Junk Mail protection is set to low.

This behavior has not changed with any updates and has been consistent from my first install. I recently had a different issue and completely uninstalled Office using the MS Uninstaller program, however no change after reinstallation.

In reading posts, here, it seems that this is caused by various rules settings, however, I have set no rules and none are listed under any of the tabs, nor on Mailing List Manager.

Its an annoyance, but liveable, but would like to avoid this behavior. Appreciate any thoughts

Do you have anything under Tools --> Junk E-mail Protection...?

Either you have this domain blacklisted under "Blocked Senders" or you
need to whitelist this domain under "Safe Domains".

Also, add this E-mail address to your Address Book so that Entourage
knows it is a valid address.

Hope this helps!

I appreciate the response, however this domain is not in my blacklist and has been added to the white list on multiple occasions.

Figuring that the program should work as it says it will, I have resisted adding it to my address book to this point, but tried it after your suggestion and it is currently working. Its disappointing after all these years of development of this type of product, that MS can't have software do what its supposed to. Now it looks like whenever I get an e-mail that the Junk Filter says is junk, even if I say its not, will have to be added to the Address Book.

Thanks so much for your help
