junk mail filter

Living Nutrition

My server filters junk mail pretty well and sends me junk with **JUNK** in
the Subject header. I have tried many Rules settings to get Entourage to
move those to the Junk Folder with little luck. How do I set the rules?

Make sure you have set up the rules under the right tab depending on what
kind of account you have (check un Tools > Accounts). Also, make sure that
the "Enabled" box is checked.

I would think the rule would look something like this
* execute actions if any criteria are met
IF Subject Contains **JUNK**
THEN Set Category Junk
THEN Move Message Junk E-mail

What happens if you select one of these messages and go to Message > Apply
Rule > <the rule>? Does that work? If so, then there is a probably another
rule higher up in the list that is preventing this rule from acting
automatically. Try dragging the rule to the top of the list, and see if
that helps.
