Entourage 11.3.2
Hi all,
I have got Entourage up and running, and running well, thanks to much help
from this NG.
I have set junk mail protection at "Exclusive". Now I get all the junk
mail, for the most part, in the junk mail folder.
On a daily basis, when I check mail, I also go to junk mail because very
often there's a piece of non junk mail that I put in my address book. Then
I highlight>trash junkmail, which goes into deleted mail. To keep that
folder from building up, I trash it right away.
My question is: On my ISP webmail (att/sbc), what I designate as junk mail,
seems to be directed to a specific place, and I get the impression that each
junk address is somehow registered as such, and the system then keeps that
address away from my account and from my junk mail folder from then on. I'm
not positive that this is what happens though.
In Entourage, I seem to be getting a lot of repeats every day. In
Entourage, when I trash (trash icon) every day, then delete that trash, is
any kind of a process going on (say with Entourages relationship with the
ISP) that culls out for good what I, and 'Exclusive Junk Mail Protection',
have indicated as trash?
Thanks,
Rafael
