junk mail

I am administering a network which contains an exchange server 2003 and many
clients running Ms-outlook 2003, there's 2 users having a problem with
receiving their emails that are moved directly to the junk folder.
I switched the junk mail option to manual, after that I restart the
Microsoft exchange system attendant from the exchange server, but the problem
wasn't fixed.
Is there any solution for this problem.

Try this, as it worked for me recently with Outlook 2003 SP3. Make sure you
have a copy of your Outlook parameters in using Exchange as this procedure
deletes the currently existing Outlook/Exchange connection information!

First of all, I'd like to explain that Outlook 2003 supports junk e-mail
filtering for the following account types:

1. Microsoft Exchange Server e-mail accounts in Cached Exchange Mode
2. Microsoft Exchange Server e-mail accounts when mail is delivered to a
Personal Folders file (PST file)
3. HTTP accounts
4. POP accounts
5. MSN/Hotmail accounts

The following account types are not supported for Outlook junk e-mail
filtering:

- Microsoft Exchange Server e-mail accounts in Online (MDB) mode
- Third-party MAPI providers
- IMAP accounts

If you're currently in one of above supported scenario but Junk Email
feature is still not working, I recommend you perform the following steps and
see whether it helps.

Step 1: Detect and Repair
=====================

1. Run Outlook.

2. Click Help->Detect and Repair to repair Outlook 2003.

3. Check both options and then click OK.

Check the issue now. If the problem still persists, please go ahead.

Step 2: Create a new profile for Outlook

=======================

1. On the Start menu, click Control Panel.

2. Click Switch to Classic View, and then click the Mail icon.

3. In the Mail Setup dialog box, click the Show Profiles button.

4. On the General tab, click to select the Prompt for a profile to be used
check box.

5. Click Add.

6. In the Profile Name box, type a descriptive name for the new profile, and
then click OK.

7. In the E-mail Accounts dialog box, click Add a new e-mail account, and
then Click Next.

8. Select the appropriate server type for your e-mail account, and then
Click Next.

9. Fill in the appropriate information as prompted, and then Click Next and
Finish as needed.

10. Click OK.

11. Restart Outlook and select the new profile in the popup window.

Is the problem resolved now? If so, we can import the original data to the
new profile. Please refer to the following article:

Hi Brian,
Interesting! The information actually came from Microsoft! So, it would
appear that the info isn't as 'up-to-date' as we'd like.
Thanks for the correction!

I added another email account on the same outlook, and it works fine, while
the first account still move emails to the junk mail folder.
