Just for the fun of it, what else can I show people?

Hi everyone! I keep a list of "things to show off" about my tablet PC, so
when people ask they can really see the difference between it and a regular
laptop. A lot of it is software-based, but my list includes:

Inserting extra lines into a ON page
Snipping tool 2.0
Sending a page to ON for highlighting and marking up
Searching within handwritten notes in ON
Ink Art 1.3
Converting handwriting to text
the lasso in ON
the time-saving drawing toolbar in ON

Is there anything else someone else out there thinks we should all
include... I mean stuff that makes our friends go "oh wow, that's cool!"
Looking forward to your input!
C.

If you're running Windows XP SP2 and the Tablet PC Edition 2005, take a look
at the Experience Pack:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/tabletpc/experiencepack/overview.mspx
It includes Ink Desktop, the Snipping Tool and Ink Crossword, among other
things. There's also the Enhancement Pack
(http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/tabletpc/enhancementpack/default.mspx)
which has the very addictive Hexic game.

This may sound odd, but a friend of mine and I do this:
Create a shared notebook on a server we can both access. There is a free
sharepoint server (limited to 5 users and 5MB total, not much) at
http://www.frontpages-web-hosting.net/ if you need a sharepoint site.
I created a "poetry" section in a blank notepad
Shared it with my friend

Now, find a poem you like
Paste it into a new page and resize the outline to be just under half the
width of your screen
Now you can circle important lines of the poem and write your comments to
the right
My friend does the same thing, and we can debate back and forth

Until you actually see how smooth it works, it doesn't sound like much.

Are the experience pack and enhancement pack (also the student tablet pack
thingee) integrated into vista or will therebe a vista capable release of
these? thanks

We're sort of in luck, Jellybean (or is it JellyBean?) with two new releases
which include Vista updates to previous packs. Check out
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...F3-C8E1-405F-BE61-8A48BA11CA41&displaylang=en
for the Experience Pack for Windows Vista, which includes new Media
Transfer, Ink Crossword, Equation Writer and Ink Flash Cards programs.

Also check out the new Ink Desktop for Windows Vista:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...4a-9e58-45f7-985b-3c37b8eedb71&DisplayLang=en
The Ink Desktop allows you to have a "portable dry-erase board on your
screen all the time" so the info goes.
