just saved on the attachment, how to retrieve data?

I opened an attachment from an e-mail and was doing work on it. It's a Word
Document and i just kept pressing the saved button, thinking it'll be saved
but something happened in that it didnt let me save after a lot of times
though. How can I get my saved document back??

This is one reason we advise you never to open an attachment directly. Every
time you saved, you were saving to a temp file in a temp folder. When you
closed Word or OE, the file was deleted. Unless you Save As at some point
(preferably before opening the file), you are not really saving anything.
