just wondering if this makes a differance mata tags

i have recently published a web site and have been looking at some other
sites and see they are useing meta tags on all of there pages seems it is
working for them is this adviseable as i was told serch engines dont look at
mata tags any more any advice on this would be great thanks

Description meta tags are good. Keywords are pretty much worthless anymore,
as the major search engines don't use them. They look for content on your
page(s).

Using metas for keywords basically now does nothing. The 3 things that might
help are to have a good page title, a good page description, and craft good
text in the visible portion of your page.
