Justify/split words

i have word 2000, it has been fine until recently.I think
my 8 yr old daughter did something accidently
when typing a letter, the last word in a sentence is split
with some on one line and the rest on another. eg ack
nowledge
i have the justify button on the toolbar and that does not
work, where as centre, left and right do.
Also the letter ' i ' does not automatically change to a
capital I when on its own, and the 1 last problem is the
shortcut shift f3 with a word highlighted is meant to
ghange the case of the word. This does not now work either.
I need help as i am in the process of emigrating and have
numerous letters to write.
I have tried reinstalling word and the whole ms office but
to no avail

Hi Dave,

If you haven't customized Word much, it will be easiest to rename
"Normal.dot" (which you will find in your templates folder) to some other
name like "Unnormal.dot".

Word will create a new one when you start it the next time

If this doesn't solve all your problems, post back.
