Justifying Form Lines

Kara

Hello.

I've received great tips from reading the questions and
answers of this newsgroup. Especially from Suzanne S.
Barnhill. (Thank you, Suzanne!)

But I'm unable to solve one particular problem.

I would like to know how to justify lines in a document.

When I attempt to create ruled-lines for a form document,
each line is a different length. It's maddening! How do
I make each line the same length?

Highlighting the paragraph and selecting "Justify" doesn't
work.

Any suggestions?

The usual way of making lines end at the same place is to set a right tab
stop with an underline leader (see
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Formatting/SettingTabs.htm). But there are
various ways to create lines, and some work better than others depending on
circumstances. See
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/LinesInForms.htm
