I am trying to install the most recent junk email filter for outlook 2003
(kb870765). I downloaded the file (~3mb) and 1/2 way through installation I
got this message:
"A required installation file SKU011.CAB could not be found"
At which point it asked me where the file could be found. Apparently no
where... my outlook 2003 is just the outlook 2003 client, not the 2003
professional office suite that the dialogue box tells me the file is located
with.
So tried to apply Office 2k3 SP1 on my machine hoping it might have the
file. Only problem, SP1 also bombed out with the same message (A required
installation file SKU011.CAB could not be found). So I then tried
downloading and installing the 70mb fulfilment download of SP1 and got the
same error.
Please tell me that those of us with just outlook 2003 can apply this new
junk mail filter? The first stand alone update for it last year installed
without incident. Very frustrating...
