KB885856 Hotfix Error

We have been experiencing the same problem described in support
article 885856
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;885856) and
have obtained the hotfix perscribe therin. However when I try and run
it, I recieve the following error;

"The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer
service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the
upgrade patch may update a different version of the program. Verify
that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you
have the correct upgrade patch."


I have verified that we do have Project Server 2003 SP-1 installed and
running. Have tried running both at the console and remotly. Tried
with the local administrator account.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

We are experiencing the same problem too, but I can´t find the link for
downloading the folowing files:

Project2003-kb886661-fullfile.exe
Project2003-kb886661-fullfile.msp

According to microsoft,those are the files needed to solve the issue.
Where did you get them?

You must contact Microsoft support to obtain most hotfixes. Every once in a
while, they post them for download, but this is very unusual.
