I am running an A2007 application that uses Winsock controls to communicate
with portable Windows CE devices. I have been receiving calls from customers
all morning that they cannot get their devices to communicate. This was a
total suprise since they had been working fine until this morning. After
hours of debugging, we realized that their computers has been updated through
the night and all had KB960715 installed. We removed this update and to our
great relief, things restored. With this update on my development computer
when I opened my application in design view and all my winsock controls were
disabled, and I am not allowed to add new ones??? Can anyone explain what
this update is doing and what I need to do to be compatible?
Thanks
