I am running Project Server 2007 and my client is MS Project Pro 2007. I
want to install this fix, which is needed, but it says the pre-req is to have
Office 2007 installed. We have been running Proect Server 2007 and MS
Project Pro 2007 with Office 2003. My questions is can I install this

Technically MS Project Pro 2007 is an Office 2007 product. You're fine.

If you're referring to this:
Views definitions are mixed in Enterprise Global since SP2
installation

then, yes - it is fixed in the August CU. Reference for the Bug Fix
is #24855. It was the first fix we tested when we installed the CU
for testing.

Good luck,

If I have a client that has the August CU installed but my server is 2 CUs
old, am I at risk of this issue still? My admin is going to install the
August CU on the server sometime next month so that I am up to date on both
server and client, but in the meantime should I not touch the global?

Brian:

As long as you have the August CU installed on the client, you are good to
edit the Global. This issue was a client-side issue.

Great thank you for clarifying, Gary.
