For that past decade, we have been using a nice little feature that was part
of the Office 2000 developer tools that allowed you to build com-adds for in
vba and compile them to a dll. Worked like a dream for all versions of office
up to and including office 2007 but is seems like KB976382 released in the
last couple of week or so breaks this functionality.
KB976382 cannot be removed via windows installer, leaving me with dozens
of legacy add-ins I can not longer maintain. Is there any way to remove this
update or is there an equiviant tool I don't know about (short of converting
all the add-ins to VB6 or .net)
