I have reports that are two or three pages in length, and they have sub
reports on them that are free to grow. My report is structured something like
this:
Heading
Object
Sub report
Object
Object
Object
Heading
Object
Object
--PageBreak--
Heading
Object
Object
When the sub report is of moderate length, the report is broken by the page
break, and the next heading appears at the top of the next page, right where
it should be. Sometimes when the sub report grows long though it starts
pushing objects off the page and on to the next. A couple objects get pushed
to the next page, and then the page break still forces a new page. Basically
it ends up looking like a blank page in the middle of the report, and of
course none of my users are happy with this.
I tried grouping the controls together in hopes of keeping them together,
but that didn't make any difference. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to
fix this?
Thanks,
Graham
