Keep attachments separate, as in Outlook 2000

In Outlook 200, when you clicked the paperclip to add an attachment, it
opened a separate line called "Attachments" at the top just under the subject
line. I found this much easier to use than the new Outlook 2003 system that
sticks an icon in the body copy

It's still the same in Outlook 2003. Sounds like you switched message format
to Rich Text. Use HTML or Plain Text instead.
