Keep Email on Exchange Server

Entourage 2004 & 2008 both deliver email to the Inbox located under "Folders on My Computer". Does anybody know how to keep email on the Exchange server so when I have to use OWA or a pc with Outlook all my emails are there? Entourage takes the email before even the iPhone gets it.

Hi,

It seems like you have configured Entourage as a POP client, if yes then definitely Entourage will go and download all your emails from the Exchange Server, my suggestion here is to configure Entourage as an Exchange client and this way you can have the emails in Entourage as well as on your server so that you can access the same through OWA.

If the account is properly configured as an Exchange account in
Entourage, check the rules and mailing list manager. It's more than
likely that they are redirecting e-mails in folders "On My Computer"

It's a weird migration to the mac world.

Well it cold happen in Outlook as well is the rules or MLM is set to
send e-mails in a PST ;-)

It's a weird migration to the mac world.

That's not a Mac issue. Just poor design in Entourage 2004 that was
fixed in Entourage 2008. Creating a MLM rule accidentally was very easy
and if you upgraded your identity then it would have followed with your
account.
