Keep email unreaded when it is opened by the delegated user

Hi,

Is there a way to keep the email as unreaded in the orginal recepient's
mailbox when it has been opened by a delegated user?

yes. The user needs to change their setting for the Reading Pane and use it
rather than open the email.

Tools | Options | Other Tab | Reading Pane | untick the top 2 buttons.

Thanks for the reply. You tip basically make email as unreaded all the time
unless it's been double clicked or hit the space bar. But my problem is if
there is a way to allow delegated user open the email and change it to readed
but sametime it will still show as unreaded in orignial recepient's mailbox?

I don't think that's possible. Whether a message has been read or not is
not a property of the message itself, as far as I can tell, but of the
client reading the message.

I tried to delete my initial response, since I realized it was in conflict
with what you had said, but apparently it went out before the delete request
came through. I'm certain you know more about it than I.
