Keep with next followed by continuous section break

I have a form that I use personally very often, where in the final finishing
stages of filling it in, I have to do a lot of cutting and pasting of parts
of one form field to another.

It's such a pain to highlight just parts of a form field, that I created a
workaround... I made a quasi-form, first a protected header/instruction
section, then an unprotected data input section, followed by the next (and
the next) pair of protected header/instruction then unprotected data input
sections. Each header/instruction section is protected, followed by a
continuous section break, followed by an unprotected section for old
fashioned typing (NOT using a form field), followed by a continuous section
break leading into the next protected heading/instruction section, and on
and on.

I use a style for all the heading/instruction paragraphs, and a style for
all the text input areas. It works fine, doesn't seem to crash, but the one
issue is that the "keep with next" part isn't working right. If the
header/instruction section winds up at the very bottom of the page, it does
not stay with the unprotected section after it.

Any ideas?

P.S. Thanks to all the Word MVPs... I go straight to Google Groups every
time I want to learn something new about Word!

Hi John

Right. The problem is due to the Continuous section break - that "interrupts"
the paragraph formatting to keep with next. Interesting, and difficult,
question...

Easiest would probably be to upgrade to Word 2003, where an entire new
approach to "protection" is introduced, and does exactly what you need.

Barring that, the only way I can see would be a macro that would check this
and unprotect, force the new page, reprotect as required.
