Keeping 1st Row with Initial Header

K

Karl

On a MS Word table that is longer than two pages, how can I keep the
first row with the first header? It wants to put the first row on a
new page.

Karl,

Place your curser in the header row then Select "Heading Rows Repeat from
the "Tables" drop down menu.

Make sure that the heading row is formatted as "Keep with next" and the rest
of the rows aren't. If the table is longer than one page, be sure to check
"Heading rows repeat" for the heading row so that it will be repeated on the
second page.
