Keeping BCM syncronized among 3-5 users

I run a small consulting network without a shared server. Is it possible for
our consultants to each run a copy of Office 2007 with BCM on their laptops,
yet keep them syncronized via P2P or other means? What features does BCM
offer for keeping multiple users in sync, without using a central server?

Thanks Monica. The post you linked below presumes a central server, which I
stated we don't have. Is it possible for our consultants to each run a copy
of Office 2007 with BCM on their laptops, yet keep them syncronized via P2P
or other means? What features does BCM offer for keeping multiple users in
sync, without using a central server?

Hi

Thank you for your question. You can take advantage of the offline feature
provided by BCM. Please take a look at the following post.

Business Contact Manager 2007 does not support the full P2P scenario you are
describing.

To solve your problem, it seems like you could designate one laptop on your
network as the "server". Whenever that laptop is present, everyone on the
network will be working off the same database. When that laptop is not
present, everyone on the network will be working "offline" - as described in
the link Monica provided. As soon as the "server" laptop comes back on the
network, everyone will be in-sync again.

Thanks,
