keeping column/row headings in place

Anne Baum

How do I freeze the top rows of my spreadsheet in place so
that they don't scroll when I move down the spreadsheet?
I'd look it up, but I don't know what the function is even
called! Thanks for your help.

its pretty easy just select the top row and go to window
and select freeze panes. if that doesnt work select the
row directly beneath it. its one of those two. good luck.

Anne,

Select the first cell in the row below the cells you want
to stay in plce, then on the tool bar, got to Window and
select either Split or freeze panes. They are a little
different, so pick the one you like.
