keeping email on the server

I have already tried this site but doesn't seem to give the correct
information on my version of microsoft outlook 2003:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA011507931033.aspx

I have setup a exchange server email account, which would normally leave all
email on the server for storage and such. In this case, I have a laptop and
a desktop. The laptop I just connected with Outlook and stole all the emails
from my desktop and continues to do so. I don't know what to do. The only
thing I can think of is when I first started Outlook, I told it to transfer
the outlook express profile, but i soon canceled out of that operation.

I suspect you have your delivery location set to be a PST instead of the
Exchange mailbbox. In Control Panel, start the Mail applet, click E-mal
Account>View or change existing e-mail accounts>Next. In the "Delivery new
e-mail to the following location" drop-down at the lower left, choose your
Exchange mailbox. Click Finish, exit the Mail applet, close Control Panel,
and start Outlook. Log into the Exchange server and then open each of your
PST folders, select all the items in it with Ctrl-A, then drag the selection
back to the corresponding Exchange folder.
