Keeping Excel Addins when upgrading from office 97

Can someone tell me if Office will automatically keep the
addins (Excel) of a Office 97 installation when it is
upgraded to Office 2000, Or do I need to do something
special to keep the existing addins..

Not exactly sure about this Andy but it probably depends on what AddIns
you're using--are they compatible with Office 2000? Compatibility is the
issue here, not whether or not they are "kept" by the installation. (It
might be necessary to uninstall your previous version and do a clean install
of Office 2000 to avoid problems.)

Check with whoever wrote those AddIns and see if there's an updated version
for Office 2000.
