Keeping HTML Signature Format

R

Ron

We are using Outlook XP and 2003 connecting to an exchange 2003 server. We
have created a corporate signature using HTML as the format. Whenever we
reply to an email sender from outside the company that is using Rich or Plain
text, the signature loses it's HTML format. When I try to change it back to
HTML for that particular email, it doesn't work. How can I configure our
signature to remain in the HTML format for replies that come in as Rich or
Plain text?

Outlook always replies in the same message format as received. This is to
honor that senders message format preference. I suggest you also honor that.

The thing is when I sent an HTML formated signature the recipient receives
the signature in the HTML format even though their email is in plain text.

Yeah, I know that. With plain text it will send a plain text version of the
signature. that's the way it has always worked. You check all versions of
the sig to ensure they give the information you want.
