Keeping Inbox Subfolders open when outlook closes and reopens

Office 2003 Pro Outlook 2003 on Windows XP Pro SP3 Platform
I use many subfolders to my inbox I close outlook with these open in the
navigation pane but when I open Outlook again these are contracted again and
I have to spend the time to expand them all again. Is there a way to force
outlook to retain the last view and keep the folders open.
