keeping line shapes on a vertical/horizontal path

There are some shapes that link other shapes together like
associations. where's the setting to keep these linking shapes on a
vertical/horizontal path? take the following example:

This is what i want:

myshape1 ********
*
*
*
************ myshape2



This is what i'm trying to prevent:

myshape1 *
*
*
*
* myshape2

In Visio 2003, you can right click on a connector and choose Right Angle to
get this behavior. Also you can go to File > Page Setup > Layout and
Routing and change the routing style to Right Angle or Flowchart.
