Keeping multiple forms open

In Access 2000 I was able to keep several forms open and switch between them
using the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, but Access 2007 will only
allow me to keep one form open. Is there a solution to this?

Tabs for each open item are found to the right of the navigation pane under
the ribbon.
