Hi.
I keep my notebook on a memoery stick.
When I click the ON icon on the taskbar,
I recieve as a short cut to the notebook.
However, everytime i click on the icon, I have
to deal with this shortcut.
ON does not remember where I was altough it does should the notebook is on the hard drive.
Is there a way to solve this problem?

I'm not really clear what your problem is. What do you mean when you say
"have to deal with this shortcut?" Does the folder open for you? Is it
simply a matter of having the shortcut icon on the Section tab?

What is the path of your "My Notebook" folder set to? Look under Tools |
Options | Open and Save | Paths. That is the path that OneNote will use as
the default location for My Notebook.

Ok the problem is not solved!!

Here is what the problem is:

1. My notebook is on a flash drive (I dont know if the problem has soemthing
to do with this)

2. Suppose I have 4 folders, sections and pages in them.
And suppose I write something on a page which is in folder 1.
Then I colse ON, i.e. it minimizes to taskbar.
Then I click on the ON icon to call it back.
When ON is open, it starts from a page other than the one I have last
updated.
However, I would like ON to 'remember' where I was everytime I open it.

This is the problem
