Keeping Notes mail file while migrating to Outlook

I am moving jobs to a new company which uses Outlook rather than
Notes. I would like to keep my lotus notes mail file as it contains
3+ years of emails, contacts, etc. I have moved my mail file and .id
file to my new machine.

Are there any programs / free downloads / etc, available which would
allow me to simply open my old mail file to read message and access
attachments? Is it possible to do within Outlook? Ideally I'd love
to use Outlook but would settle for a seperate program or shell.
