Keeping rows together in mailmerge

S

Stephen Glynn

I'm producing a catalogue through mail merge and the rather complicated
layout makes it far easier to merge the data into a table of three
columns and four rows.

I want to stop the four-row units from splitting between pages. I
can't pre-set any measurements since the product descriptions are of
varying lengths.

Is there a setting I can use to do this or will I have to tidy the
merged document up manually?

Thanks

Steve

I would suggest that you use a modified "label" type mailmerge maindocument
with four rows and 3 columns of labels. Change the row height setting so
that it is not fixed and set the column widths to the desired values. You
will need a <<NEXT RECORD>> field as the first item in the first cell of the
second, third and fourth rows.
