Keeping table rows together

I'm creating a table that has three columns, the third
column of which I put values and add for a total. That's
all fine.

But every so often within the table I have to put a
heading. I create a new row for this, and I'm wondering
if there is a command to "keep rows together." I don't
want the rows with the headings to end up at the bottoms
of pages. I tried the "Keep With Next" paragraph command,
which didn't work.

"Keep with next" should work (provided you don't apply it to too many rows),
but you may have to apply it to the entire row rather than just a single
paragraph in a single cell.

Okay, I went back and tried it again. This time I used
the first column, which has an automatic numbering code in
it, and used "Keep with next" and that worked! However,
interestingly, it didn't work when I used it in the next
column, where the descriptive text is typed. But I have a
solution, so thanks much!!
